MBT GRIPS HUNTING KNIFE – HUNTER MODEL, 1070 CARBON STEEL WITH FULL HARDENING, IMBUIA WOOD HANDLE
A compact hunting knife designed by João Humberto Petry, a bladesmith certified by the AGC (Associação Gaúcha de Cutelaria, the Gaúcho Cutlery Association) — one of only five holding that title today — for fine work on small game: opening, cleaning and field dressing hares, birds, small hogs and small deer.
The dropped point gives control in the cut and a distinctive look, and the solid imbuia handle — not painted wood — fills the whole hand for a firm grip even with the compact blade. Every handle is unique: the natural grain and tones of the wood make your knife one of a kind.
Small and easy to carry, it also works as an everyday utility knife: in its leather sheath, it rides on your belt or in your backpack without taking up space.
A knife made to last for generations.
Why MBT Grips
Designed by João Humberto Petry, AGC-certified bladesmith, with every piece inspected by hand.

Full hardening: the entire blade is heat-treated, not just the edge.
Phosphate finish: a matte protective coating that reduces glare and helps prevent rust.
Solid imbuia handle, secured with stainless steel screws and bushings.
Vegetable-tanned leather sheath, hand-stitched.
Factory warranty and invoice.
